“Beer . . . a high and mighty liquor.” — Julius Caesar
I admit.
I am a huge beer geek.
It started about a decade ago when I had my first craft beer. I loved traveling for food and culture, but mainly for food. Little did I know I would discover much more than that.
Having traveled through various countries both in Asia and Europe, my eyes were opened to exactly how many kinds of beer there actually are.
I fell in love with Citra Double IPA but sadly, I wasn’t able to find it back home.
Ever tasted that guy?
It was a game-changer for me…
And that’s how my homebrewing journey started.
A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it’s better to be thoroughly sure, as one Czech proverb goes. And man, weren’t they wrong (the Czechs make one of the world’s best beers!)
I wanted to have more of that beer so I went on to make them myself!
It was a challenge back then though.
Unlike today, There were very few forums or videos to guide me through my brewtastic education.
And that’s why I’m here right now…
… because I appreciate the work that goes into making this divine creation, I’m eager to share what I’ve learned.
It also helps me document every improvement and hack that I am learning… along the way.
I also know that feeling when you’re just starting your very first homebrew but are pretty lost as to how to begin and what equipment and ingredients to use.
So I’ve also written and will be sharing reviews of the very best products I’ve researched and used.

…the beers I love the most – as of this moment – are IPAs and Imperial Stouts which are super challenging but massive fun to brew at the same time!

Homebrewing is an art that might seem complicated at first glance – but I’ll be unravelling every aspect for you here.
After all…
…nothing – and I mean, NOTHING – beats enjoying a cold beer on a mellow afternoon with nothing to look forward to other than, oh yeah – getting the next one in!
So crack a cold one and enjoy!
